| In a desperate move that is well ... almost communist in a way ... US government now has the majority stake in GM. Which means that I (and all of you tax payers) paid for GM stock! To be honest I think we overpaid ... and where will the profits go from this company? (if there are any!) It all just seems and feels wrong. Government has been handing out loads of money (that it doesn't have) to all sorts of big oversized lagging businesses (that must be bailed out or they will completely drag down the economy). And then we keep hearing stories of that money being misappropriated. Now government has shelled out oh round and abouts $150 BILLION to keep the car industry running. A car industry that loves to be slow in adapting. Doesn't bother to come out with more efficient or economical engines and vehicles that continues to ask the government for relief from tighter emission controls ... and pretty much kept pushing big fat inefficient oversized cars till it was too late. Perhaps ... just perhaps all these moves that throw money everywhere will keep things afloat for a bit, but with the current track record, isn't anyone afraid that the US will actually go bankrupt or ends up being owned by China/Middle East/Russia??? (Since that money the US throws out has to come from somewhere)

| Mosquito season has started in earnest :( 3 bites this morning. I was so exhausted from 4th of July weekend I didn't notice until I woke up! For the 4th we did something different instead of NL/RL peeps being over to go watch the concert and fire works we had 4 little playdates over! Jane, Norna, Lauren and Lindsey .. the girls had a ball and ... didn't fall alseep till 11:30pm oops! Then the next day to Church! Saw the Phua's which was awesome, then we came home I took a nap to get ready for the rest of the day. To my bro! First a BBQ and the kids just played and played with their cousins after that sleepover again but at my bro's place again ... 11:30pm woah. Then the next day leisure morning and for lunch Indian Fast food! first time I had Dosa style bread, very yum. Then finally the trip home ... boy exhausted ... anyways it was a nice 4th

| Well there is this big red give away going on and you get these entries with pieces of a puzzle on it kinda like the McD's monopoly game .. and it is near the end so I am going to the store and I'm thinking oh i wish I could get my hands on a whole stack! ... I could jsut grab a whole stack .. but my conscience of course tells me 'ahem that is stealing and you are being greedy so stop it!' I'm like ahhh true forgive me. So I go to the check out and I don't even see the stacks anymore I 'm like awww they are out. Well lady in front of me checks out and she's offered the game pieces and she says oh I don't play the game (i'm thinking oh give them to me give them to me!) then the cashier lady says well this is the end of the promo and there have not been any winners yet, so the lady takes them I'm like awwww then it is my turn and she just hands me a whole stack of them since they need to get rid of all of them! Ironic ... God has a great sense of humor! Well so far we've won a gatorade and 1 dollar off something but I'm giong back for more pieces!!! har har har ... maybe I am getting greedy LOL

| A week of Pump in the books for Kim. She led the study Friday but I think she really didn't get enough time to prep which was unfortunate. for me I just focused on getting ready for Sunday school and Praise on Sunday. Besides some Fifa and on Saturday a double treat! Brunch at Sabrina's Cafe where they had renamed the whole specials menu to Michael Jackson songs, I choose the ground beef and egg burritos which were awesome! After that I did a full run through of the songs using my 'whole' collection of pedals making me realize I really needed to get time in at church to get all the levels and sounds set right. Then I played some soccer woot! I was feeling a tat out of shape it was hot but I did ok but man I am slooooowww two nice through passes I just couldn't catch up on boohooo zero acceleration left. Then showers and off to the Kho's for an amazing dinner (the scale (liar!) said I gained 6 lbs) then back home finish up sunday school preps and to bed (around 2am) then up at 8 am to go to church, lay out all the pedals, run through all the songs, set all the levels. Go down copy all the Sunday school material and off and running we go! As far as I could tell everything went quite well and I enjoyed everything immensly. Sermon was very good as well although I could tell Tim was tired. lunch was great. Tofu!!! yay. After that just kickin relaxing, some fifa some usa brazil .. go Brazil yay (sorry even though I live here I am not a usa fan). And then discipleship! I really enjoy being able to meet again with some folks for discipleship it is a very worthwhile and rewarding experience. After that plenty of ZZZZzzzssss!

| It costs around $120 a lbs for filet ... What kind of fish is it? Well it is the kind you catch yourself as you go on a boat expedition! Me and David Tan went on a boat to go fishing and it was a load of fun, but ... out of the 6 or so fish we caught we only got to keep 2, I swear my fluke was dinner worthy but alas 1 inch short! So we came back with 1 bass and 1 sun fish (these freaky fat fish with 'legs') filet it amounted to maybe 1 lbs. All I can say is .. I want to go again but catch more fish LOL After that it was father's day .. I got to spent it with Faith since she was sick and Kim had to teach at church. In the morning we did our little worship. Sang The butterfly song Arky Arky Shake a Friend's hand You never let go I stand in awe We prayed and talked about what was so meaningful about the songs and then we read the family devotion book together. It was about knowing you are saved. After that it was all fun and games, tv watching, webkinz etc. till the rest of the fam came back. Took a nap. Then we went to Sabrina's for dinner .. but .. they were closed!!! :( So we swung by Wings to Go picked up a bunch and ate at home while watching Wall-E All in all not a bad day, Faith is doing much better btw!
